As I approach retirement, I’ve founf myslef reflecting on how I can give back to the community that has supported me and my family throughout the years. The United Way’s vision – ensuring equitable access to support and opportunities for all members of our community – deeply resonates with me. I’ve always enjoyed helping people, and being part of an organization that creates real, positive change is incredibly fulfilling, I’m proud to contribute to this mission and excited to see the difference we can make together.

With over 20 years as a Certified Financial Planner and a strong background in accounting. I bring financial expertise, strategic insight, and deep understanding of fiscal responsibility to my role as a Treasurer. Having lived in Cornwall my wole life, I’ve built my career and raised my faamily here, giving me firsthand insight into our community’s needs. My experience as a parent, grandparent, and committee member has shaped my collaborative leadership style and commitment to helping families thrive.

All of the issues United Way supports are deeply important but hlping children reach their full potential is especially close to my heart. With two grandchildren in the school system and two educators in my family, I see firsthand hoe vital development programs and high school completion are in a region where poverty affects so many, even basic needs like breakfast aren’t guaranteed yet we know that feeding the body feeds the brain. SUpporting kids isn’t just about education. It’s about giving them the foundation to thrive
