Leaders are individual donors who demonstrate their commitment and social responsibility with contributions of $1,200 or more to United Way. When you give a Leadership gift you are making a personal investment that reflects your desire and commitment to helping others in need. You are also setting an example to motivate others to give at similar levels.
As someone who cares about our community, you want it safe, vibrant and full of opportunity. We feel just as strongly. To create long-lasting change, we need our most powerful asset: you. Your gift goes on to change the lives of thousands of people in our community, making it that much stronger. Want an easy, straightforward way to make a meaningful difference? It’s as easy as saying yes.
Choose your desired level of Leadership Giving, each with its own benefits to you and our community.
Gift of Securities
Both you and our community benefit when you donate securities to United Way!
A gift of securities or stock entitles you to receive a charitable tax receipt for the fair market value of the donation, while not being subject to any capital gains tax.
As a result, your gift of securities to the United Way may produce a greater tax benefit than selling the shares and donating cash.
If you would like more information on giving a gift of securities, please contact our office by email: email@example.com or phone: 613-932-2051.
